Taylor Tells It Like It Is was a performance artwork / stand-up comedy routine performed at Paper Mountain for a sold-out audience on the 7th of February as part of Fringe World 2018.

Taylor Tells It Like It Is featured an hour's worth of material, or, as a friend put it, "the length of a Netflix special", despite being my stand-up debut.

The routine was largely uncomfortable for me - as it featured several intentional "bombs" and many crude sexual jokes - and as the event had been advertised more than I intended (including in The West Australian), I saw many family friends and hapless strangers in the audience, deprived of what they probably expected to be straightforward stand-up.

Any future routines will run for half the time of the former; a half-hour sequel is on the horizon.
